Lodeve
is a traditional small French town in the South of France,
in Herault, unspoilt by tourism. The centre of the town has
a 12 th century cathedral and a museum which charts the history
of Lodeve from Roman times till the present day. The town
has a thriving cultural centre which is developing its reputation
for its arts and summer festivals.

The rental
villa accomodation is ten minutes walk from Lodeve. The
town has a weekly market on a Saturday which enables visitors
the opportunity to buy fresh local produce. Lodeve has a numbers
of craft shops, supermarkets, bakeries and restaurants. Lodeve
is an excellent base from which to explore the Languedoc region
and further a field.
The region is famous for their wine making with lots of cava's
in the area to taste the locally produced wine
